Yamba surfer Joel Emery (right) finished fourth at the2019 Skullcandy Oz Grom Open completed at Lennox Head last week. Emery finished behind 1 – Ocean Lancaster (Newcastle, NSW), 2 – Rico Haybittle (Burleigh Heads, Qld) and Max McGillivray (Evans Head, NSW) in the Under-12-boys division.
