Welcome back everyone after what I hope was a lovely Easter break for you all.

We welcomed two new members on Friday, friends Barbara and David from Palm Lakes. I here tell you both settled in immediately to our happy gathering AND mastered Rummikub with very little tuition. Congratulations.

As our numbers continue to grow, we would really welcome the assistance of anyone wishing to volunteer their services, whether it be once a month or every Friday from 9.30am to 2pm at the Yamba Bowling Club. It is an easy rewarding few hours that brings so much joy to so many people. If you are a happy soul, community minded and available to bring a “little something” to our Day Club, please ring Leanne on 0413 101 518.

In my absence last Friday, I believe you were served huge hot super scrumptious scones with extra jam and cream……… and did not do exercises! It seems we will have to double up next week, not on the scones but the exercises! Sorry’

I believe Cathie sensibly chose the wine for the lucky door prize, and Anne and Daphne won the $20 Coles vouchers. The “Pick a Box” game was won by Thelma who chose the big golden box containing a large print book of finder words. And Anne topped her day off with two Bingo prizes. So, a fun time was had by all.
