Only six weeks until Christmas Day! Now that ought to cheer you up. I love everything Christmas, decorating, family, food, fat jolly old men and giving. Remember we break up on December 13, so get yourselves ready to party.

Another busy fun day had by all last Friday. It was great to welcome Chrissy O’Farrell from Grafton Day Club to share our day and see how we do things at Osprey. That was pure dedication Chrissy to get on the bus so early in the morning but I know you really enjoyed your day, particularly picking up one of the $20 vouchers in the raffle; not to mention the Bingo prizes as well! Dorothy and Heather A were the other recipients of the prizes.

A huge thank you to David P for making those beautiful hand crafted Rummikub boards for the Club. So much better than those horrible plastic things that collapse every five minutes. The game is gaining momentum as more people take up the challenge. Please speak up if you wish to try it and we will ensure you have patient instructors to ease you into the game. It is challenging at first, but I promise you the mental stimulation is worth the effort. WARNING. It is addictive.

Thanks too to Col for scouring his garden for floral posies. Your efforts are greatly appreciated, but please leave those beautiful magnolias at the top of the tree where they belong. No climbing; we want you in one piece.
