If the volume of noise is any indication, then Friday was another successful day. As you know I was only present for a very short time as I needed to get home and attend to the wonderful Tradie installing our new kitchen! NO. His name was not Derek…but just as cute!
Our numbers continue to increase which is just superb. It was so nice to welcome Diane, Kevin and Daphne and I look forward to catching up with you Diane when I get back from Sydney and we can have a good old natter. It was also lovely to see Kath back again and I understand she is going to attend alternate weeks to fit in with her other social activities. Daphne slotted in well with all the ex-golfers and it was like “old home week” for them all. Last but not least, welcome back Nigel from what seemed like an extended holiday to us. Great to see your cheery face again.
Col was not well last week and we missed him dearly. I understand you have an endless amount of friends and relatives attending your every wish; make the most of it mate and hopefully we will see you next week bright eyed and bushy tailed. If you play your cards right they will fill up your freezer and you won’t have to cook for a week or two.
I just thought I might mention that it is approximately 91 days until Christmas…. we need to start planning our Christmas party. So put your thinking caps on and give us your suggestions. Start getting your red and green outfits in order for the big day. No mini-skirts or hot-pants this year! Santa’s helper excluded.
Nigel won the lucky door prize, and Margaret and Dorothy each won a $20 voucher.
