Public libraries in the Clarence Valley will be closed on Monday, March 11, so all library staff can come together for a training day covering library customer service.
Regional librarian, Kathryn Breward, said the closure provided a rare opportunity for library staff to come together as a team and undertake specialist library customer service training – a first in more than eight years.
“Our library website will still be accessible for access to all our eResources during this closure,” she said.
Normal hours of operation will resume from Tuesday, March 12.
