Black Rock is an area of reef north of Woody Head and south of Evans Head that has a reputation of producing good reef fish.

Where is it?
Approx. 6 nautical miles north, northeast of Woody Head.

What fish should I target?
Predominately Trag, Snapper and Blue Spotted Flathead.

What bait should I use?
Best baits are Blue Pilchard and Mullet fillet fished on a Paternoster rig, with floating baits for Snapper in the winter months.
