Ed, A couple of weeks ago there was a 38 page lift-out in Queensland’s weekend flagship newspaper, The Sunday Mail. It was titled “Your Guide To Regional NSW”. The only mention of The Clarence Valley was five column lines on Maclean’s Easter Highland Gathering buried away on page 19. Is it no surprise that Council is having an underwhelming response to its call for someone to fill the vacancy on its Tourism Advisory Committee flop. It’s only “achievement” to date seems to be the $16,000 coloured balloon logo…..Duh! Councillors need to have a close look at how the current Committee is constituted and managed. Perhaps the reinstatement of its multi award winning predecessor just might be a good idea. Ian Saunders, Maclean
