You may recall a letter to the Editor from a Cassandra from Alotau, Milne Bay Province, PNG back in December 2021, seeking to find Clarence Hart.

I have a happy ending to report. This letter interested me because it brought back memories of time, I spent in Alotau, and Milne Bay many years ago – and so I Googled Clarence but to no avail. I then emailed Cassandra and asked her if she could tell me a bit more about him – how old, what work he did, etc. She eventually replied with a few details and so I searched again and found a 2012 mention and an email address of his workplace.

I sent this to Cassie yesterday and got a reply today. It said: “Hi Jenny, Thanks a million. I emailed the address and got a reply from Clarence this morning. Your help is very much appreciated. Thanks again and God bless. Cassie”
