Karen, Danial and Adam Paull are the proud new owners of Maclean Rural Supplies, and will soon be adding mowers and other garden equipment to their range.
The Paull family plans to add mowers and other top-quality power equipment to the already huge range of products offered by Maclean Rural Supplies. Husband and wife team Karen and Adam, and their son Danial, are the proud new owners of the Townsend store, after falling in love with the Clarence Valley in May this year during a short stop-over on their way home to Sydney from Brisbane. On November 2 they bought Maclean Rural Supplies, and haven’t looked back. The store at 1 Ironbark Drive already sells more than 3000 products including pet supplies, pool equipment, cleaning chemicals, work-wear, and fencing supplies. Now the family plans to capitalise on Adam’s life-long experience selling and servicing mowers and garden equipment. Adam has already commenced servicing locals’ mowers, chainsaws, whipper snippers and other equipment, and soon will introduce a line of top-quality machines and parts. Karen said each of the family members loved working together as a team. “It’s wonderful, because we get to see each other all the time. We’re very family oriented –we do things together – that’s who we are,” she said, adding that their two daughters Samantha and Emily also worked part-time at the store. Customers are also able to pick up free-range chook eggs during their visit, as Danial breeds and keeps a range of poultry. The Paulls are welcoming locals to drop in for a chat on 12 December, during an open day that will include a sausage sizzle, lucky door prizes, lolly bag give-away, and a special appearance by Santa.
