NAIDOC Art Competition winners announced

Clarence Valley Council (CVC) have congratulated Dawn-Natalie Brown whose artwork Connecting The Clarence (pictured above – courtesy CVC) was judged this year’s winner of the 2022 Clarence Valley Council NAIDOC Art Competition. Dawn’s winning entry will be proudly displayed to promote 2023 NAIDOC Week in the Clarence.
Council would like to thank all 28 junior and five senior entrants for submitting their artworks, and making it very hard for judges Bundjalung artist Jo Walker and Gumbaynggirr Elder Aunty Jannay Daley.

Senior winners:
    1st , $500: Dawn-Natalie Brown (Grafton) – Connecting The Clarence
    2nd, $250: Bianca Monaghan (Grafton) – Knowledge
    3rd, $150: Krystal Randall (Townsend) – Dance

Junior winners:
    1st: $70 art pack: Maisie Monaghan (Grafton) – Fairy Emu
    2nd: $50 art pack: Tom King (Yamba) – River Dreaming
    3rd: $30 art pack: Hunter Powers (Yamba) –  Sleeping Lizard
