MX race day at Maclean

Last weekend the Maclean Dirt Bike Club held the 3rd Round of their club championship at Maclean Motorcycle Park.

A really good day was had by all wHo attended, with Andrew Fuller dominating the MX2 and the open class, finishing in 1st place for all six races.

Our ladies class was led all day by Ivy Cross who took three from three in the ladies class.

The highlight of the day was the 4-U7 years demonstration class – it was really good to see seven riders out on the track demonstrating their abilities, a huge expansion on the 1-2 riders we usually get. The little champs stole the show both on and off the track. If you would like to get your youngster involved, please contact the club as we cater for all juniors at every race meeting – under 7 year olds can get started straight away, whilst 7-U16 year olds are required to attend a kickstart coaching day before they can compete.

We can also get adults with a suitable bike on track in our non-competitive class or for the more experienced in the race class. Another notable mention for the day is Cooper Armfield. Young Cooper won his first ever race and amassed enough points to take 1st place for the day in his class.
