Music ‘hall of fame’ inductee to play Maclean Bowlo
Country Music Hall of Famer James Blundell plays at the Maclean Bowling Club this Saturday November 21.
Widely known for his Way out West duet with James Reyne, Blundell has been a stalwart of the Australian music scene since 1987, when he was named ‘best new talent’ at the Tamworth Country Music Awards.
Meanwhile, he has won a bevy of Golden Guitars over the years – his long and prolific association with the awards was recognised last year when Blundell was made a Roll of Renown Inductee of the Australian Country Music Hall of Fame at the 2019 Golden Guitar Awards.
In 2018, Blundell’s music was the focal point of the compilation album, 30 Years of Pride – A Tribute to James Blundell, which features the who’s who of Australian music, joining with some of today’s most exciting new artists, to re-imagine some of his biggest and best loved songs.
Make a beeline for the Maclean Bowling Club, and book your tickets before it’s too late: at the club or through its website. Local duo Monkey Finger plays the support.
