The Crown Hotel Motel are inviting everyone to attend their second annual mud crab races on Saturday, February 22.

Racing is set to commence from 3pm and will continue throughout the afternoon in the Beer Garden.

Participants will be able to grab their own crab through the popular mud crab auction which also supports the Grafton Jacaranda Festival and compete for the prestigious title of Mud Crab Champion.

Once the buckets are overturned and the competitors commence scuttling, the winning mud crab will be the first to reach the rope bordering their racing perimeter.

Close to 200 people attended the event last year to cheer on their 10-legged sports stars, and the Crown Hotel Motel is anticipating another huge turnout in support of the event this year.
