Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions which have commenced on the Pacific Highway at Halfway Creek to enable the new northbound carriageway to be built as part of the Woolgoolga to Ballina Pacific Highway upgrade. Between Grays and Lemon Tree roads, some of the existing northbound carriageway will be closed to enable the connection to the new northbound carriageway near Lemon Tree Road to be built. Traffic will be moved temporarily to the existing southbound carriageway and will be one lane in each direction. The intersection of Lemon Tree Road and the Pacific Highway will also be upgraded to create a temporary northbound acceleration lane. These changed traffic conditions will be in place for about six months, weather permitting. Minor delays may be experienced when traffic is moved to the southbound carriageway.
