Men’s and Women’s Shed – Townsend fundraiser

On Saturday June 8, the combined Clarence River U3A, Men’s and Women’s Shed (located at 130 Jubilee Street Townsend) will be holding their annual fundraiser in the form of a huge – tool sale and car boot sale.

All proceeds from the event will go towards purchasing new tools and machinery to replace some of the present, outdated equipment.

Items available for purchase will include, large electric tools, hand held electric tools, hand tools, chisels, spanners, wrenches, nails, screws, nuts n bolts, garden tools, there are way too many to list all.

The Car Boot Sale will include, hand made timber work, arts and crafts, knitted/crochet items, chopping boards, stools, crates, novelty pieces, electrical goods, glassware, bric a brac, books, clothing, plants etc.

Egg and bacon sandwiches, coffee, tea and sausage sandwiches will also be available.

There should be something of interest for everyone, so, please, make sure you attend and help raise much needed funds.

We are also inviting members of the public to have their “own stall” at a cost of $10. This $10 fee will go towards our fundraiser and any money from “personal sales” will remain with the stall holder.
If you should have any unwanted tools, gardening equipment, or curious items that could be donated, for sale, they can be delivered to the Shed at 130 Jubilee Street Townsend (the big blue building).
