McKimm’s win naming rights to Grafton Cup
McKimm’s Real Estate in Grafton has won the naming rights to this year’s July Racing Carnival’s flagship Grafton Cup.
The Kensei Club naming rights draw took place at a function which was held at the Clarence River Jockey Club (CRJC), on Saturday evening.
An elated Angus McKimm said that he was ‘stoked’ to win the naming rights, two years in a row.
“We’re the happiest and luckiest business owners in the Clarence Valley,” Mr McKimm said.
“We are blown away to be the major sponsor of the largest non-metropolitan racing carnival in Australia.
Mr McKimm said that he was very glad that the second place-getter was Grafton Gas and Plumbing.
“Grahame and Judy Brotherson have been supporters and sponsors since the beginning of the Kensei Club event and never won,” Mr McKimm said.
