Jim Simmons, Mayor, Clarence Valley Council has announced the postponement of the March Council meeting due to the flooding.

“The heavy rain and flooding meant that some of the councillors were going to be unable to attend the Council meeting that was scheduled for today,” said Cr Simmons.

“We have made the decision to postpone the meeting until next Tuesday, 30 March 2021 to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to attend.”

 As usual this Council meeting will be live streamed online at 2pm, 30 March 2021.

 The public gallery will be open for this meeting and you are requested to contact Council’s Executive Support staff on 6643 0200 by 4.00pm Monday 29 March 2021 to register your attendance.

 Council will make the necessary arrangements to ensure that all COVID requirements are complied with.
