Lower Clarence Magpies 1st grade side had a good win on the weekend against Kyogle at Kyogle, 44-26.
Try scorers for the Magpies were Damian Dan Randall (3), Roberts (2), Jirra Breckenridge (2), Kyle Roberts (1) and Andrew Kapeen slotted 6 goals.
The reserve grade game was called off early in the second half after an injury to a Magpies player. The player was released from hospital on the same night and will sit on the bench this weekend.
At the time the game was abandoned, Kyogle were leading 26 – 16. Try scorers for the Magpies were Mikee Randall (2), Travis Gibson (1) with goals to Brian Quinlin (2)
The Magpies are off to Byron Bay next Saturday to take on the Byron Bay Red Devils.
