A new bowler, Kay Dredge, was welcomed to Maclean Women’s Bowling Club on Tuesday June 14. Although the day started off with pleasant weather, after a few ends it started to rain and play was abandoned. The raffle was won by V Daniels. The Club Triples Championship began on Thursday June 16 with only one match as the other teams had byes. The winning team consisted of L McKay, R (W) Haselum, and K Hudson who defeated J Cotten, V Daniels and C Byrum 23-11. Members are reminded that the Annual General Meeting will be held at 1pm next Tuesday June 28. Anyone who has not yet paid her membership fee to the main club should do so immediately. There is a sheet in the locker room for the Club Championship Fours which starts on Thursday July 21 and entries close at noon on Friday July 8. Maggie Combley
