Maclean View Club’s new Committee
with members for our first meeting of the year. We started off with the AGM, the new Zone Councillor Anne Dinham presided over the elections.
A full committee was elected, congratulations and a huge thank you to everyone, for this excellent result. We can now plan for another fun and friendly year, raising monies to educate our disadvantaged Australian children, in a Learning for life Program.
Our Club is now supporting five children in this program, thank you members for your support.
It was a nice surprise having our Past National Councillor Laura O’Brien also at the meeting.
Susie O’Brien was the guest speaker, she is a hearing advisor from Coffs Harbour. She gave a very informative talk about the loss of hearing, also showing many ways of helping people with impaired hearing.
The March meeting will be a “Trivia” morning with guest Leslie McFarlane asking all the tricky questions!
