It is with great regret that we have had to cancel our March, April, May and June luncheons held at the Maclean Bowling Club due to a directive from HO VIEW Club, because of the COVID-19 virus.

Eight members and friends attended International Women’s Day in Yamba and a most enjoyable day was had by all. The speakers on  the day all spoke on the theme Each for Equal, all being very inspirational addresses.

The entertainment as usual was varied and excellent. A big thank you to the ladies who helped on the day with cooking, serving lunch, and helping to set up the venue the previous day. This event raises much needed funds for our ‘Learning for Life’ students through The Smith Family. Our Club sponsors six children for which we are very proud to help, the money raised helps to ensure the students have essential school equipment and uniforms.

Please keep an eye out for further press releases as we hope by June we will be able to have our usual luncheon to enjoy continued friendship and fun. To all our members keep well and safe, and remember, everyone is just a telephone call away, keep in touch.
