Three people scored a birdie, they were Chris Forrester, Bruce Johnston and Barry Connelly. A reminder that our Vets Christmas party will be held on Monday 14 December (the date of 7 December in the last report was incorrect). This is a non playing week but it has been decided that we will run an 18 hole ‘Red Ball’ event on the day and have our Christmas celebrations afterwards. Our usual starting times apply. Please put your name on the sheet at the clubhouse for catering purposes. Don’t forget the MGC runs a 9 hole Chook Run on Mondays and Tuesdays. You can play anytime of the day with the partner of your choice, it’s cheap to join in and there are good prizes available. Also we have out TGIF 9 hole par 3 event every Friday after 1pm. Why not come out and practice your short game now daylight saving has arrived? Our next vets game will be held on Monday 23 November, be at the clubhouse for an 8am registration, 8.15 draw of the cards and a 8.30 shotgun start. Visitors to our club are most welcome. Megan Walsh
