Maclean RSL Sub Branch – possible ANZAC march?

Our AGM and February meeting was held on February 22.  The meeting was attended by 38 members with 10 apologies and three visitors.

There was no need for an election as we are now into our 2nd year of a three year appointment. The financials were presented and accepted, due to the lack of rent received we did not have a great financial year. During the monthly meeting two new members were introduced, Peter and Milva Barnes, Peter is ex-Navy and Milva ex-Army, welcome to the family.

Graham Guile was issued with his new membership card and badge.

Tartan Brushies are now back at the Brushgrove Hall, cost has increased to $7 for the day, this includes lunch and morning tea.

ANZAC Day was discussed and we will be having a Dawn Service with Gunfire Breakfast as well as an 11am service. The possibility of a march is still being investigated. Both services will be a ticketed event under the current COVID-19 rules. We will be selling ANZAC Day tokens prior to the event.
