We held our AGM on Monday February 25 and it as attended by 48 members with eight apologies and four visitors. As there was no need for an election (current executive have one year to go) the meeting went quickly.
This was followed by our monthly meeting at which three new memberships A Lambie, B Stewart and R McKibbin were presented and accepted.
The sad event of Chatsworth Island/Iluka Sub Branch folding was discussed. A motion was put to the meeting that we would begin a chapter to the Maclean Sub Branch in Iluka which would be co-ordinated by our members who lived over there. The motion was successful.
ANZAC Day tokens will be sold both in Maclean and Iluka, Lynda from Maclean and Sadie from Iluka will be co-ordinating.
