Bruce Wiseman has taken to wearing a high visibility vest after taking a bruising hit last Saturday from a wayward shot. Don’t get in front of Bob Richards either as he did a 180° slide in his buggy. He reckons the turbo clicked in!
Saturdays event was the Keno Qualifier 2BBB Vs Par sponsored by Phil and Fran McGuire. Robert Fuller and Sally Weeks carved the field up to return an incredible winning score of plus 11. The runners up Kim Moore and Phil McGuire also put in a top round to come in with plus 9. Both of these teams will represent the Club at the District final at Ocean Shores in July. It was great to see our captain Geoff Grayson enjoying a game although he was playing with an injury.
A big thank you must go to the ladies who helped make last Sundays first mixed event such a success, especially Judy Parkes and Di Moore in the Pro Shop and our caterers Gai Greenwood and Wendy King. After the game the BBQ and pavlovas were a big hit.
Next Saturdays game is a Medley Stableford and with the course in excellent condition it is well worth coming out and taking the challenge.
