The Maclean District Business Chamber has gone all out this year, bringing Maclean alive this Christmas, for the Clarence Valley community Enchanted Christmas Fair.
The free event is set down for this Friday, 13 December from 4pm – 10pm in Maclean’s CBD, and River Street will be closed to traffic during the event (see special notice).
Maclean has ‘decked the halls,’ or streets all out in Christmas decorations, with shop fronts getting totally into the Christmas spirit, with decorations and lights, in the Enchanted Shop Competition.
That’s not all, even the community have gone all out, dressing up their homes in the Enchanted House Competition – with one home in Clarence Street even mirroring the Griswold style, which is a must to see!
While the organising for this special event has been under way for the last four months, businesses have been busy decorating their window displays over the last few weeks, to bring the town alive.
Tickets in the huge Christmas Raffle have been selling since the end of last month, with tickets selling for $20 a ticket and a prize value of $1500. The draw closes at 6pm on Friday, 13 December. and will be drawn at 7pm.
The Enchanted Christmas Shop Window competition and Enchanted Christmas House competition were also added to the event, to encourage businesses and the community to get into the Christmas spirit.
The two competitions along with the raffle will be announced and drawn on the night.
There’s plenty of Christmas fun for the little ones: with face painting, crafts and interactive games to keep them entertained and engaged – there could even be a surprise visit from Santa – so don’t forget your camera!
The FREE EVENT includes – kid’s activities, live music, food trucks, artisan stalls and more.
Shops will be open for late night trading, along with over 30 stalls.
The Maclean District Business Chamber has gone all out this year, to make their town a totally enchanted experience.
Be sure not to miss this amazing and enchanting event and consider volunteering for a Community Group in 2025.
This event is funded by the NSW Government in conjunction with the NSW Department of Transport and Clarence Valley Council (CVC) and MDBC.
