The weather is warming up and it was a beautiful day for tennis on Thursday August 13, with some hard-fought matches played.

The competition sets resulted in Mitchell (4 sets, 40 games) defeating McAuley (4 sets, 39 games), with lots of tiebreakers; Anderson (5 sets, 39 games) defeated Donovan (3 sets, 32 games).

Many thanks to Ricky and Connie for filling in for absent players. More social players enjoyed the great tennis weather last week and our raffle of an excellent fruit box was won by Sue McAuley.   

The draw for Thursday August 20 will be McAuley’s team to play Anderson’s, and Mitchell’s team to play McKenzie’s. On the bye is Donovan’s team.
