Maclean ladies sneak in St Pats day in between showers.

‘Top O the Mornin’ to you and happy St Patricks Day to all. As luck of the Irish would have it, Maclean ladies played our annual Irish Scramble 4-person Ambrose event on Wednesday March 17 with our sponsors being Lifestyle Comforts and Home Aids with great prizes and raffles to be won. Thank you again to John and Tina for your continued sponsorship and support for our women’s golf.

Irish eyes smiled upon us as the wet conditions cleared to enable us to play the round with little or no rain. It was also fantastic to see so many of us getting in the spirit of the day by wearing the Irish colours and dressing up. Well done girls.

Results

Our winning team for the day was the lefties combination of Kate Apps, Bev Ensbey, Sue Fong Kee and Sandra Jenkins; runners up was the team of Phoda Pedrana, Cathy Ayres, Tina Hogg and Jean Ellis.
