On Wednesday October 6, the Maclean women’s golfing fraternity celebrated

“In The Pink” for breast cancer.

“Pretty in Pink” is how I would describe all our women golfers today. Thanks girls for getting in the spirit of Breast Cancer Day. And what a great day was had by everyone in raising awareness and funds for Breast Cancer Research.

We had 38 players in the field, all vying for the great prizes on offer. Our sponsors for the day were Nancy Commerford and Pam Barr. Thanks girls for your generous prizes, I know everyone appreciated them.

Thanks also to Liama Hunter for a great job done on decorating the club house and also Kate Hemmy for her excellent cooking skills, the cupcakes were a hit.

Results

The event played today was a 2BBB Stableford.

Winners – Rhoda Pedrana & Cathy Ayres; runners up – Sue Fong Kee and Jean Ellis.
