The Maclean Lower Clarence Hospital Auxiliary is holding a Movie Day on Wednesday June 29 at the cinema in Coldstream Street, Yamba. The film is a new release love story entitled “Me Before You”. Morning tea will be served at 10.30am and there will also be a chocolate wheel. The cost is $15 per person and patrons are asked to purchase tickets beforehand for catering purposes. All proceeds will go towards the auxiliary’s new project which is to provide the hospital with a Lite Gait machine at a cost of nearly $44,000. This machine helps patients to walk again. The next auxiliary meeting will be on Monday June 20 and the guest speaker will be Dr Dean Robertson who is in charge of the Emergency Department. It will be held in the conference room of Community Health at Maclean District Hospital, starting at 2pm. New members are welcome.
