From all of us at Maclean Food Bank, we are so grateful to all those who have supported us throughout the past year. We thank you all – young and old and those who don’t even look at social media, who have given, and kept on giving to those in need.
The Christmas season reminds us that love and giving are powerful. We have seen many in difficult situations this year, and some who are still experiencing hard times, and with the wonderful giving of the Lower Clarence Community, we have been able to shower some hope and love into their lives.
A huge thank you to all the businesses in Maclean who have given gift vouchers toward meals for someone.
A huge thank you to the staff in business (you know who you are) who have squirrelled away each week to donate at Christmas time.
The businesses (and individuals) who have donated hams – this will make a huge difference to the ones who would have had nothing.
To the ladies who have sewn all year to make quilts for those to be able to have a present under the tree for the children.
To our benefactors in N.Z. who have given new toys so that all the children would have something from Santa.
To the lady who has been sewing children’s clothes and donated them to us and others – thank you.
To the farmers with fresh produce and eggs, thank you.
To all those who have been a part of our garage sales, as we endeavour to raise funds for the Maclean Food Bank – thank you.
Each and every little thing that has been donated, all adds up. We thank you so much.
To our unseen volunteers and those who collect on our behalf. Thank you.
We have been so humbled by the love and giving that this Community has shown to others not just at Christmas time, but throughout the year. There are far too many to name names, and without you, we would not have been able to help as many as we have.
Be blessed and continue to be a blessing to others now as we continue to partner with you in the New Year, and to shine God’s light onto others.
