Despite the wild and windy conditions on Saturday the Loving Life Day in Market Square, was a huge success. Carol Ordish from radio 103.1FM said that it was wonderful to see the children enjoying themselves. “The community event which was put on by 103.1FM was very much youth oriented with lots of events and hands on activities to keep the children occupied,” Mrs Ordish said. “The dance troupes who performed were really great.” Event coordinator Julie Dickson said that this year’s event was bigger than last year. “We had great feedback from the market stall holders and the activities were great,” Ms Dickson said. “We had an extremely good input from the business houses of Grafton, who generously donated goods for the auction.
