Lola (pictured) the sad lady by the door at the Lawrence Museum is anxiously awaiting saleable items for the museum annual garage sale, which will be held on Saturday April 7.  Lola will accept any household & kitchen goods, glassware, crockery, linen, electrical items, children’s toys, books, furniture, books, DVD’s CD’s, garden tools, & sport & fitness goods. “We welcome everything except mattresses and live animals” she said. If you are moving, or just de-cluttering, perhaps you have items left over from a garage sale, all will help cheer up Lola because they will help the Lawrence Historical Society raise funds to keep the museum operating and complete the construction of the new shed. Lola will be at the Museum to receive donated items during normal opening hours, Tuesdays 9am – 1pm and weekends 1pm – 4pm or if you have larger items and need a hand, please call Roz on 0429 477 102 to arrange collection.
