Grafton City State Emergency Service would like to thank Grafton Lions Club for their donation of a TL9 stabiliser.
The TL9 stabiliser was developed with three things in mind; to save time, safety and have an effective product.
The purpose of the TL9 stabiliser is to be used in conjunction with the spreaders to achieve a safe and efficient horizontal stable lift. This piece of equipment will now be carried on Grafton City Units Rescue truck (Grafton 4 9) and will be an invaluable piece of equipment for rescue operators.
Grafton City Rescue Unit has been the 3rd busiest Road Crash Unit in the State for the past 2 years and the 6th busiest Rescue Unit in the State over the past 3 years. The Unit is a credit to its volunteers who give up their time to up hold the State Emergency Service mission: ‘Saving lives and Protecting Communities’.
The Unit meets each Tuesday night at 7pm in Irene Street, new members are always welcome, so if you are looking for something that is not only rewarding, but gives you the opportunity to challenge yourself in a wide range of activities/courses, come along and see what the State Emergency Service can offer you.
