Lighting up community input ahead of local festival

Organisers of Riverlight Ulmarra are inviting residents to have their say in the creation of the lead parade lantern for the upcoming cultural festival.

Phil Nicholas of Events Delivered, said community input is important to ensure the lead lantern reflects the town, its history, and its aspirations.

“This is a great opportunity for us to get ideas and feedback from locals and incorporate them into the design ideas of the lead lantern,” he said.

The meeting will be held at the Ulmarra Hotel on March 31 between 7-8pm. Attendance is free.

Riverlight Ulmarra will be held on May 14 and showcase the town and Clarence River through a spectacular display of floating lanterns.
