It was another brilliant day on the golf course on Monday. The sun was shining, and the course was in great condition as 47 players hit off.
Lethal Leigh Barrington had the best round of the day to come out on top with 39 points. He wiped the 17th hole, so just goes to show how well he played for the other 17 holes. Ray Anderson playing for his handicap came in with 38 points but because he did not have an official handicap, he could not receive the runners up prize. Next time Ray. This went to the consistent Greg Doolan who finished with 36. And with 35 points was Chrissy Forrester who claimed the free game voucher.
Club balls went Matt Young and Glen Crooks, both with 35 also, Pat Harris and Jeff Miller had 34s; Andrew Radcliffe, Amanda Barwick, Chris Blackman and Patrick Vacchiano all with 32, and then a number of 31s – Kaye Grayson, Graeme Lloyd, Phil Robinson and Bev Ensbey also collecting a club ball. Unfortunately, Mike you just missed out.
The Vets are on again next Monday with another Stableford event, and on the following, the monthly medal.
