The Lawrence markets are on once again this Saturday November 2, at the Lawrence Hall.

Around 15-20 stalls will offer an array of goods both inside the hall and in the surrounding grounds. There will also be live music to entertain market goers.

Brushgrove resident Eric Bale will have two of his hand built river boats (a steam boat ‘Sooty’ and a Viking boat ‘Helga’) on display at Memorial Park, (across the road from the markets).

Bill Gleeson of Brushgrove will also have his newly restored Clarence River fishing boat ‘Ducksoup’ tied up at the wharf (on view only). The historic fishing vessel was originally built in 1934, by professional fisherman Ted Want (dec) of Oyster Channel.

Head down to the Lawrence markets this Saturday and check out the river boats as well, while you’re there.
