WIRES volunteers have asked the community to look out for our displaced and relocating wildlife over the Christmas and New Year period.
Our wildlife has taken a beating over the last 12 months with drought, fires and now flood waters, which has seen a huge number of our native species killed and displaced.
During this wet weather, the community are encouraged to be alert and aware that there are animals out there that may need our help.
If you spot any wildlife in trouble, contact WIRES or phone an animal carer for assistance.
