Yamba Evening VIEW, (Voice Interests and Education of Women) are holding a special event open to the public on Tuesday evening May 7 from 6pm -7pm at Yamba Bowling and Leisure Club.
Need a little motivation? Do we have the night for you! Guest speaker is Will Elrick; a truly inspiring person.
Will was almost killed in a car accident and lost his right leg from the hip.
Did he give up? ‘No way; he worked hard, became fit and climbed mountain peaks on crutches.
Will has conquered some of the world’s highest peaks since his amputation and will be joining us for this special event.
He will challenge your thinking, inspire and motivate!
The proceeds from this event will go directly to supporting Australian children living in poverty through The Smith Families Learning for Life Programs.
VIEW Clubs of Australia is a leading women’s volunteer organisation and support network that empowers women to have their voices heard on issues of importance in Australian society.
VIEW is the only national women’s organisation solely focused on supporting and advocating for the education of young disadvantaged Australians. We are non-religious, and a non-political organisation.
VIEW Clubs of Australia are committed to supporting The Smith Family, to help disadvantaged Australian children get the most out of their education, so they can create better futures for themselves.
According to the Poverty in Australia 2018 Report, there are now more than three million Australians living below the poverty line, including more than 730,000 children who are under 15.
Nothing short of shocking for a country, that has entered its twenty-seventh consecutive year of economic growth,
We hope to see you there to support us in our challenge, making a difference in the lives of Australia’s children living in poverty.
