A great day for our monthly medal round last week despite being a little chilly early. It was good to see our numbers increasing again and some fun on the course.
Steve Dorrell won the day with a nett 32 as well as NTPs on the 10th and 12th. All this while still recovering from an injured foot, so what is he likely to score when he is fully recovered? Never mind, the handicapper will even things up.
Kevin Moran was runner up with a commendable 34 and Bob Oddy took third place with 34.5.
Apart from the good scoring above, the highlight of the day was a hole in one by Bob Oddy on the long par three 17th. Well done Bob!
Last week was the final game for Denis Kelly until his return from a three month caravan tour of Queensland but he left us with a reminder of his putting prowess with the least number of puts on the day of 14.
As the weather warms up we can anticipate a return of those who hibernate during winter but we can always handle some additional players of any standard, so if you would like to join us on a Tuesday morning simply be at the course for a 7.30 tee time. We would be delighted to see you.
