Hockey Junior League off to a great start

The Big River Holiday Park & Ski Lodge Junior League hockey is well under way in Grafton.

This is a new concept where players (boys and girls) can join a skills and game session on a Saturday morning. Sessions go for approximately one hour and are run by an experienced team of coaches. The players rotate through some age-appropriate hockey drills and then have a game. Skills and games take part on a synthetic surface so have been able to go ahead despite the wet weather closing many grass fields in the Clarence Valley.

There is still room for more players. Simply turn up for a ‘Come and Try’ and then sign up if it suits. The under 8 session is at 9.30 and under 9/Year 3 &4 session at 12.30. Once registered players receive a $30 voucher for the hockey shop to purchase equipment.

More information is available on the GHA website.
