Heritage study into Nymboida and Ulmarra areas
Are you interested in the history of the areas around Nymboida and Ulmarra?
If so the Clarence Valley Council would like to hear from you.
A community-based heritage study of the former Ulmarra and Nymboida shire council areas is underway, and residents, former locals and others with an interest in the area are encouraged to contribute valuable local historical information and stories.
Strategic planner and council heritage officer, Deborah Wray, invited anyone interested to a meeting at the Grafton library from 10am-noon on August 15 where a working group will be set up.
“If people have information that might help tell the story of places in this area we strongly encourage them to be involved,” she said.
A web page has also been set up for those who would like to share information but who might not be able to be part of the working group.
