Help us make the longest denim clothesline in Australia and support Jeans for Genes Day 2016!
Grafton Shoppingworld are supporting Jeans for Genes Day 2016 and we are asking the community – our customers and retailers to help us make the longest denim clothesline in Australia.
In 2015, Michelle and her team at The Coffee Club Grafton Shoppingworld, asked local pre-schools and day care centres to decorate jeans with a story to support Jeans for Genes Day. Kelle’ Murphy, Marketing Manager Grafton Shoppingworld said ‘Due to the amazing response in 2015 and due to Michelle’s great efforts, Grafton Shoppingworld has now taken this great initiative one step further and asked the entire community to get behind this great event and raise much needed funds for children’s medical research.
‘We picked Jeans for Genes Day as our cause because they support research into cures and treatments for all children’s illnesses. This is where it starts, finding cures for genetic conditions to offer children the best chance for long, happy and healthy lives’ said Michelle Worley, The Coffee Club, Grafton Shoppingworld.
To support this great initiative, simply drop off your old denim in the trailer located outside The Coffee Club at Grafton Shoppingworld & donate at any of our participating Retailers below to raise money for children’s medical research to discover treatments & cures – so all children have the opportunity to live a long & healthy life.
All donated denim will then be donated back to our local op shops who will then sell the denim and raise more money for the community.
Plus don’t forget to wear Denim on Friday 5th August or risk being tapped on the shoulder to make a donation for Jeans for Genes Day at Grafton Shoppingworld.
