Ed, The Maclean Chamber of Commerce would like to thank all those who helped at Maclean MacMarket on January 2nd. Getting better every year, we had a bigger attendance right through the morning, the weather was kind and all sites were sold. A particular thanks to all our members who generously donated vouchers and other prizes, too many to mention, but were mentioned on the day by the radio. Thanks to all the stall holders, who offered variety and plenty of interest. The Pipe Band was magnificent, as were all the entertainers. I would like to thank all our executive who worked tirelessly over many months to achieve the market success, and particular thanks to Bob & Judith Little, the kiddywinks favourites. Special thanks to the magnificent organisational job carried out by our secretary Julie King, and my Co-President Peter Gordon for his unbending support leading up to and including the day. Thanks to our major sponsors, Clarence Valley Council, Tursa and TAFE, without them Macmarket would not happen.
