Grants to celebrate Seniors Week in the Clarence and Richmond Valleys

The next Seniors Week will begin on the eve of Valentine’s Day in 2019 but if locals planning to organise an event want financial help from the NSW Government, they only have until 10 August this year to apply, said Clarence MP Chris Gulaptis. “I love Seniors Week because each event brings a smile to the face of so many young-at-heart Clarence and Richmond Valley residents,” Mr Gulaptis said. “OK, so I have a vested interest, because I am now a senior too, as my wife and children keep reminding me. “Anyhow, whether you’re a local in Coraki wanting to organise a fete at a sports field or Clarence Valley Council looking to stage a major event, it is well worth looking into this grant program.” For further information on how the NSW Government can help you celebrate seniors during the Festival please visit
