Only seven shooters attended the Grafton Rifle Club range on Saturday at 400 yards in tricky conditions that saw a varying light and changing winds and the scores were reflective of those conditions.

The Club welcomed visitors Matt Snow, Anthony Kahill, Steve Kelly, Andrew Reid and Tim Bowyer from Coffs Harbour Rifle Club.

There were two possibles shot on the day. Trevor Lascelles shot a 50.8 in his second stage in Hunter class while F-class shooter Sue Bloomer scored a 60.6 during her first visit to the mound.

In Target rifle Nick Abrahall won both the off-rifle and handicap trophies for the day. Trevor Lascelles took out both off-rifle and handicap in Hunter class. Visitor Andrew Reid cleaned up both trophies in F-Open while in F-Standard, Sue Bloomer won the off-rifle trophy and Allan Johnson took home the handicap prize for the day. There was one F class shooter who sadly shot on the wrong target greatly reducing his score for the day, but the author of this report has chosen not to name him as she has to reside in the same house and does not want to upset harmony within the family home.
