Grafton U3A

Our Jabberfest for March is coming up and again promises to be an interesting and enjoyable occasion.

First up we will learn about ‘Clarrie the Crocodile’, which has been a feature, slung high above the bar at Roche’s Hotel. How he came to be, will be explained by Greg Ryan, and following morning tea, we will have the first “One + One” interview.

A new segment where a committee member will interview a member of U3A about their life and times.

The series will commence with “The Life and Times of Bob Cuming’ talking about his life growing up in Melbourne, experiences during WW2, his work with GJ Variety Stores, meeting Trish and moving to the North Coast of NSW.

It promises to be an inciteful, funny and charming interview.

We hope to see a good roll up next Monday March 9 at the usual venue The New Life Church, Arthur Street commencing at 10am.
