After a most interesting 20th Anniversary celebration in October, we are now looking forward to the November Jabberfest which will occur on Monday November 14.

The morning session will see many of the members recount their memories and experiences in their younger days of the fun they had with billy carts and tricycles. We will also be brought up to date with the preparations for the Christmas luncheon and some preliminary plans for the year 2023. A warning here to all, brush up your cooking skills as there will be a competition to see who, both men and the ladies, can bake up the best ANZAC biscuits, this of course being scheduled for the April Jabberfest.

Following the morning tea break there will be a one-on-one interview with Enid Bennett interviewed by Rhonda Dunkel, subject to Enid’s state of health, otherwise there is a back-up interview with Warren Grant being interviewed by Mike Gillespie, this being otherwise listed for our February ’23 Jabberfest.

So be at The New Life Church in Arthur Street on Monday November 14 with your anecdotes on billy carts and tricycles with the Jabberfest commencing at 10am.
