The Grafton Rowing Club will host the Murwillumbah Rowing Club Regatta at Corcoran Park on September 11 after the Murwillumbah Rowing Club revealed substantial damage had been caused to the riverbank along the Tweed River near their boatshed, preventing them from holding the event on their home course.
After a rather lengthy hiatus following the Covid-19 pandemic and devastating floods which unleashed havoc across Northern NSW earlier this year, the Grafton Rowing Club is proud to be back in the business of hosting regattas on the Clarence River.
Due to the ongoing development of the $6.5 million Grafton Waterfront Precinct Project, Grafton Rowing Club will host upcoming events and regattas at Corcoran Park, including:
- The Grafton High School and South Grafton High School Regatta on November 13.
- Head of the Clarence River Rowing Regatta on December 10.
- Grafton Rowing Club Regatta on December 11.
The Clarence Valley Independent will provide further information and coverage of these events in upcoming editions.
