Round 1 of TNT started on February 15 with 82 bowlers playing in near perfect conditions. Many thanks to players who were used as “subs” especially Ron Paine for his patience.

Resting touchers were taken out by Sue Sutton and Ivan Beverley.

Winners on the night were ‘Fresh Dental’and our runners up were ‘Kens’ and lucky losers were ‘Club Team 1’.

After Round 1 the newly named team ‘Sharkies’ and ‘Fresh Dental’ are in the lead on 6 points, followed by ‘McKimms Real Estate’ on 5 points.

Many thanks to our sponsors, GDSC, McKimms Real Estate, Clarence Valley Wholesalers and Abbey Motor Inn.

On Wednesday February 16, we had 34 players for our social pairs with winners on the day going to Neville Henwood and Allan Knox; runners- up were Ken Foster and Alan Madden, while the consolation prize went to George Mallison and Darren Brown. The first resting touchers went to Keith Garner and Paul Sutton.

Unfortunately, our Friday social pairs on February 18 were washed out after only a few ends.
